About The Position

Care Initiatives is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate nursing care in a skilled nursing environment at one of its communities in Iowa. The role supports daily clinical operations, promotes resident safety, and works collaboratively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care team members. This weekend package position has day shifts available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Compensation includes a competitive base wage and weekend package pay. Requirements

Valid RN license in good standing, valid in Iowa or able to be activated in Iowa.
Current, valid CPR certification.
Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
Commitment to treating others with empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.

Responsibilities

Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
Support daily clinical operations on the unit and help ensure quality care and resident safety.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols.
