The program supports nurses transitioning from student to professional practice through a year-long cohort, a dedicated clinical preceptor, simulation experiences, specialty rotations, and ongoing mentorship from a nurse educator. The posting is for new graduate RNs completing their program by December 2026. New graduate nurses deliver safe, evidence-based care with support from experienced preceptors, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient experiences, and use clinical technology and tools to support patient well-being. They participate in structured learning and hands-on practice while building confidence and competence through mentorship. Wilson Medical Center is a 294-bed facility serving Wilson County and surrounding communities. New graduates may build clinical foundations across medical-surgical, telemetry, adult behavioral health, postpartum women’s services, emergency, operating room, and same-day surgery units. The center describes its culture as close-knit, supportive, and team-oriented, with approachable leadership and invested preceptors.
