About The Position
Atrium Health General Surgery Albemarle is an outpatient general surgery practice that provides a comprehensive range of surgical services to patients who are 18 and older. Providing high quality care and excellent customer service is our focus. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. Ideal nursing candidates demonstrate a strong commitment to service excellence, nursing excellence, and adaptability. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- 1 Year of RN experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care, through evidence-based practice, clinical expertise, and compassionate care delivery in an ambulatory care setting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Advocate for patient needs.
- Assist with in-office procedures.
- Triage patient phone calls.
- Uphold professional practice standards to promote optimal health outcomes.
