About The Position
This position works 3 12-hour shifts, resulting in 36 hour work weeks or 72 hours bi-weekly. This position also works a rotation of weekends and holidays. Teammates will work in a fast-paced environment and will need strong triage and assessment skills. Responsibilities include: Triage assess acuity, Obtain vitals, Administer medications, injections and vaccinations, Perform Point of Care testing, lab specimen collection, and Assist with procedures such as splinting, wound care, and blood draws. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- 3 Years of RN experience with Urgent Care, ED, ICU, preferred
