About The Position

As a Peritoneal Dialysis Registered Nurse (PD RN), you’ll educate patients and caregivers in-clinic, enabling them to perform dialysis independently at home! This role blends clinical care, patient education, and case management. The schedule is flexible Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with no weekends or holidays. You will be covering census in one facility but must be flexible to support our South Norwalk Dialysis Center as patient needs arise. Excellent Paid Training is provided, and Dialysis Experience is NOT required. Nephrology nursing provides a fresh lens and set of skills to those newly entering the field.

Requirements

• RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 12 months of RN experience
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• ADN required
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Dialysis (PD, HHD, chronic, or acute)
• Patient education or teaching background
• Case management or telehealth experience
• CNN or CDN certification

Responsibilities

• Train patients and caregivers on PD procedures and self-care
• Manage a caseload of PD patients, including assessments and care planning
• Monitor treatment progress, conduct home visits, and provide on-call support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes
