About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers, directs, and supervises patient care on a nursing unit using the nursing process. The RN plans and coordinates care, including interdisciplinary and discharge planning, patient and family education for post-hospitalization, and access to community resources. The RN may perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse duties. ACLS certification is required from day one for Charge Nurses, High Observation, and ICU roles. This is an internal 13-week assignment paying $60 per hour at a Denver LTACH. The position is for nights. Requirements

Current RN license in the state where applying.
Current BLS certification.
Current ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment; ACLS is required from day one for Charge Nurses, High Observation, and ICU roles.

Nice To Haves

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
Comfort working with vents, trachs, and PICC lines.
Two years of experience in direct patient care.
