4C Stepdown Unit - Registered Nurse (RN) - Full time - All Shifts available
About The Position
Christiana Care Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to work 36 hours per week at our Christiana Hospital on the 4C Medical Stepdown Unit. The 4C is a Medical Intermediate Care inpatient unit, comprised of a team of dedicated and caring nurses who deliver care to a complex adult patient population. As a member of our team, you will engage in a true relationship-based model, building relationships with patients and families as well as your peers, guided by our values of love and excellence. During and post an individualized orientation, we support independence in nursing practice. As a member of our team, you will assist in managing a 4-5 patient assignment, working side-by-side with the interdisciplinary team that includes Patient Care Technicians, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, and an array of other medical professionals.
Requirements
- BSN required. ADNs candidate are required to commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire can be considered with relevant experience.
- At least one year experience.
- BLS required
Nice To Haves
- Acute care or sub acute care experience preferred.
- Encourage board certification in Medical-Surgical, Geriatric and/or Progressive Care Nursing.
