Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiology Short Stay Unit
About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Cardiology Short Stay Unit (CSSU) at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware. CSSU is a 14-bed unit providing cardiac-specific inpatient and observation intermediate cardiac care. The unit provides scheduled and emergency care and procedures 24 hours a day for patients needing emergency cardiac care and testing. This is a full-time position with 12-hour rotating day and midnight shifts, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Weekend and holiday work is required as determined by the department. The hourly pay range is $42.11–$67.37; the actual offer depends on factors including skills, relevant experience, and qualifications.
Requirements
- At least one year of medical/surgical experience in an inpatient setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- BSN required, or willingness and ability to obtain one within three years from the date of hire.
- Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware.
