About The Position

This is a Full-Time Registered Nurse position in the 3 South Cardiac ICU at Trinity Health Oakland. The Cardiac ICU is a 12-bed unit that cares for adult patients with acute cardiac disorders. These include, but are not limited to, acute myocardial infarction/cardiogenic shock, post cardiac arrest, acute coronary syndrome, congestive heart failure, conduction abnormalities/arrhythmias, and post-intervention care for cardiac stent, carotid stent, aortic endograft, Pulmonary Embolus/peripheral vascular interventions/EKOS, and post valve interventions. The position is scheduled for 36 hours per week on the Night Shift, from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with a required weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements

Current Michigan Nursing License
Graduation from accredited nursing program
BLS Certification

Nice To Haves

BSN degree preferred
Must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years

Responsibilities

Provide care for adult patients with acute cardiac disorders.
Care for patients with acute myocardial infarction/cardiogenic shock.
Care for patients post cardiac arrest.
Care for patients with acute coronary syndrome.
Care for patients with congestive heart failure.
Care for patients with conduction abnormalities/arrhythmias.
