About The Position
Ramapo Ridge Behavioral Health Hospital (RRBH) is a 58-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital serving adults from 18 years of age through the senior years. RRBH includes a general adult psychiatric division and a geriatric division specializing in Dementia and Alzheimer's. Haven at Ramapo Ridge provides inpatient trauma-informed care for women only. As an RN, you will be an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, developing individualized treatment plans. The team includes nurses, social workers, therapists, psychiatric nursing assistants, dietitians, and Pastoral Care Counselors. The therapeutic milieu involves daily group offerings, medication therapies, individual therapy, psychoeducation, art and music therapy, movement groups, and family support. RNs also have opportunities to act as preceptors, charge nurses, and mentors for students. Christian Health offers competitive RN wages and a supportive environment for teamwork and development.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- New Associate Graduate Nurses are welcome to apply.
- Demonstrates compliance with the CH ASPIRE Standards of Performance.
Nice To Haves
- Interested in Psychiatric Nursing or looking for a change and a new skill set.
- Completed a diploma program, obtained an Associate Degree or a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team in developing individualized treatment plans that meet the patient where they are and ensure the plan is designed to meet the patient’s goals.
- Act as nurse preceptors, charge nurses, and mentors for students rotating through RRBH.
