About The Position
Ramapo Ridge Behavioral Health Hospital (RRBH) is a 58-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital serving adults from 18 years of age through the senior years. RRBH includes a general adult psychiatric division and a geriatric division specializing in dementia and Alzheimer's. Haven at Ramapo Ridge provides inpatient trauma-informed care for women only and is the first of its kind in Bergen County. As an RN at RRBH and Haven, you will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary team, developing individualized treatment plans for patients. The team includes nurses, social workers, therapists, psychiatric nursing assistants, dietitians, and Pastoral Care Counselors. RNs have opportunities to act as preceptors, charge nurses, and mentors. The hospital offers a tranquil work environment on a 78-acre campus with newly renovated, state-of-the-art behavioral health care settings.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- New Associate Graduate Nurses are welcome to apply. We will train new graduates!
- Demonstrates compliance with the CH ASPIRE Standards of Performance.

Responsibilities
- Lead the team in developing individualized treatment plans that meet the patient where they are and ensure the plan is designed to meet the patient’s goals.
- Act as nurse preceptors, charge nurses, and mentors for students rotating through RRBH.
- Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of the Christian Health.
