About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care Hospice is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an on-call position, providing emergency overnight hospice visits as needed. This role supports clients on a per-visit basis throughout Windsor, Orange, and Grafton counties in VT and NH. The schedule is a unique rotating schedule—on-call from 5:00 PM to 8:30 AM, one week on and one week off. Enjoy full-time compensation and benefits while working just 26 weeks per year. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered, paid quarterly over two years. The base pay is $50-55 per hour, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation. Requirements

Current RN license in Vermont and New Hampshire
Minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience
Solid computer skills; experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
Ability to travel to assigned cases

Nice To Haves

Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories after business hours and on weekends
Perform assigned duties, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, procedures, and comfort care
Monitor client conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager
Follow up on and properly document physicians’ orders
Perform client assessments as needed
