About The Position

Child Health Associates is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide pediatric primary care in its Auburn, Massachusetts practice. The role supports pediatric patients, families, and providers through compassionate, family-centered nursing care and collaboration with the clinical team. Nurses have the opportunity to build ongoing relationships with patients and families in an outpatient setting. This is a full-time position with a consistent four-day workweek and one regular weekday off. The schedule includes one evening per week until 7:00 PM and one weekend shift per month. The posted pay range is $32.50–$39.00 per hour, based on experience. Child Health Associates is an established, privately owned pediatric practice serving Central Massachusetts since 1987, with offices in Auburn and Shrewsbury.

Requirements

Active Massachusetts RN license.
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric nursing experience.
Primary care, family medicine, or ambulatory care experience.
Telephone triage experience.
Transferable clinical experience relevant to outpatient pediatrics is welcomed.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, family-centered nursing care to pediatric patients.
Perform telephone triage, assess patient concerns, and offer guidance using established clinical protocols.
Work with providers to coordinate patient care and follow-up.
Administer immunizations, medications, and treatments.
Support providers during patient visits and procedures.
Educate families about preventive care, medications, treatment plans, and common childhood health concerns.
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with the clinical team to support smooth patient care.
