Registered Nurse (RN) Neuro-Complex Medical
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro and Medical provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The RN uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassionate and skilled communication, and leads efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The position is based on a 32-bed Neurology Stroke/Medical Unit at Advocate Condell Medical Center, a recognized Primary Stroke Center. The unit has a collaborative, supportive team that includes new graduates, experienced nurses, and nursing assistants. New graduates are welcome.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
