Registered Nurse (RN) - Observation and Mixed Acuity
About The Position
The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse who partners with and advocates for patients, families, and significant others by providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support that impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN functions in a versatile role, demonstrating professionalism and promoting excellence and autonomy in nursing practice. The RN uses the nursing process and evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients within the department’s scope of service. The RN serves as a guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader, and sentry, and collaborates with and guides care delivered by the inter-professional team. The RN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, the Nursing Code of Ethics, and applicable regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid Ohio RN license.
- Ability to multitask amid constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- At least one year of RN experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
