About The Position
Summer Day Camp in Hopewell, New Jersey is looking for a RN for the 2024 summer season. The position is for 8 weeks, from June 24 to August 16. The infirmary is staffed by 2 nurses who are responsible for distributing medication, performing basic triage, and caring for sick or injured campers and staff. A unique benefit offered is that if you have children, they may also take part in the camp program.
Requirements
- Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of NJ
- Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
- Valid driver’s license
- First aid/CPR certification required
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other colleagues to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or reactions
- Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changes
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with the supervisor
