About The Position

The Registered Nurse delivers care to patients undergoing Digestive Health procedures using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, in coordination with other health team members. The nurse interacts effectively with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Care is provided to patient populations in Gastroenterology, Cardiac, Pulmonary, Pain Management, and Neurology – Lumbar Puncture. The position is 32 hours per week, with variable start times of 6:00 a.m. or 7:00 a.m. according to daily scheduling needs. Weekday and weekend on-call responsibility is required. Minimum hiring wage is $36.50 per hour. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Maintain valid licensure, certification, or registration.
Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa.

Nice To Haves

Critical Care experience preferred.
IV Conscious Sedation experience preferred.
