Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Nursing Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
Successful completion of the NCLEX.
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in any U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in a Medical-Surgical setting.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
Ability to successfully complete the AMI credentialing process.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care in an outpatient clinical setting.
Perform patient assessments and accurately document findings in the electronic medical record.
Assist providers with examinations, treatments, procedures, and patient education.
Coordinate patient care plans and communicate treatment recommendations.
Triage patient concerns and determine appropriate follow-up care.
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report significant changes.
Support chronic disease management and preventive healthcare initiatives.
Coordinate referrals, specialty consultations, and follow-up appointments.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in NIH electronic systems.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and quality standards.
Follow all NIH policies, procedures, and privacy requirements.
