About The Position

This position is for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the 24-bed Neuro Rehabilitation Unit on the 4th floor at Carolinas Rehabilitation – Charlotte. The unit provides specialized, patient-centered care for individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, multi trauma, and other neurologic impairments. The RN will be part of an expert interdisciplinary team, including physiatrists, rehabilitation therapists, and support staff, working collaboratively to help patients regain function and achieve meaningful recovery. The Brain Injury Program is CARF accredited, offering an exceptional environment for nurses passionate about neuro-focused, evidence-based care. As an RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role involves using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication to lead efforts in creating the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • 3-5 years of experience working as a RN
