Registered Nurse (RN) | 6 Central - Surgical Specialties (Vascular and Bariatrics) | Nights
About The Position
Join our 19-bed Surgical Specialties unit, caring for patients undergoing vascular and bariatric procedures as well as general med-surg patients based on surgical volume. This flexible unit offers a fast-paced, diverse clinical environment. The patient population includes Bariatric surgery (Gastric Sleeve, Gastric Bypass – not all patients are bariatric), Vascular surgery (CEA, AAA repair, revascularizations, thrombectomies, amputations), and General med-surg patients. The role involves IV insulin management using Glucommander. Typical staffing ratios are 1:4 for days and 1:5 for nights.
Requirements
- Current RN license in Georgia
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in surgical, med-surg, or critical care nursing is a plus
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
