About The Position
Havasu Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for their Wound Care team. This full-time position offers a consistent schedule with no on-call duties and no major holidays. The role involves providing patient care in a high-quality, patient-centered environment, with opportunities for extensive training and cross-training in various therapies. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual passionate about wound healing and patient advocacy.
Requirements
- Current Arizona or Compact State RN license
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care or home health nursing preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides patient care to Wound Care Center patients and handles patient intake and discharge processes in accordance with hospital and nursing standards.
- Assists in vein clinic after receiving Healogics Vein Clinic training and performs hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) related duties upon completion of Healogics hyperbaric training.
- Serves as a Case Manager to a group of patients, performing initial nursing assessment, communicating findings with the assigned physician, assessing wound stage and measurements, documenting care plans, evaluating patient status, and identifying situations requiring intervention.
- Functions as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) in accordance with Healogics policy.
