About The Position

Provides professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients. Utilizing the Nursing Process, the RN plans, implements, directs and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. The Wound Care Nurse works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit. Additionally, the RN prioritizes nursing actions and will implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.

Requirements

• 2 years experience with acute wound care
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Experience in a high volume, fast paced environment
• COVID and Flu vaccination required
• Copy of agency's IL nursing license included in submission
• Resume
• Skills checklist (within 1 year)
• 2 Supervisory references
• Certifications (must be active at time of submission)
• License (must be active at time of submission)
• COVID card/status (Declinations will not be approved)
• Agency IL nursing license must be included in submissions
• BLS
• Illinois nursing license
