How You’ll Make an Impact As a Wound Care Nurse, you’ll be a trusted partner in our patients’ recovery journeys. You will: Functions under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager Responsible for assisting in the management and rehabilitation of patients with wounds, ostomies, abdominal stomas, incontinence, ulcers and other skin conditions. Provides leadership and direction for coordination and improvement of WOC care, including development of policies and procedures, guidelines, standards of care and research Your skills, compassion, and critical thinking will help patients achieve greater independence, strength, and quality of life.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure in the state.
  • Graduate of accredited wound ostomy care nurse program with current licensure in the state.
  • At least 2 years of current experience in the specialty is required.
  • CPR/BCLS certification.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Wound Ostomy Care Nurse (WOCN) preferred.
  • ACLS preferred.
  • CRRN Preferred

Responsibilities
