About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Weekend Program for the Adult Behavioral Health Unit at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. The unit has 24 beds dedicated to adults experiencing acute psychiatric conditions, focusing on stabilization through trauma-informed and patient-centered approaches. The RN will be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to creating a therapeutic environment that promotes healing and empowers individuals to achieve their goals. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures, using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• At least one year RN experience
