About The Position

Inova Fair Oaks is looking for an Emergency Supervisor (RN) Full Time – Day Shift (7am-7pm) with rotating weekends. Eligible Nurses will qualify for sign on & relocation bonuses. Fair Oaks Hospital is a Magnet recognized care site, a Certified Stroke Center, and has dedicated Pediatric rooms with state-of-the-art medical equipment sized to fit babies to adult. The location is convenient off Fairfax County Parkway with ample free parking on campus.

Requirements

Requires at least one year of Registered Nurse Clinical experience.
Associate Degree RNs within one year of completing their BSN.
BLS required.
Licensed to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Completion of revised Charge Nurse Workshop within the first 90 days
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exhibits leadership ability that fosters teamwork and retention.
Demonstrates professionalism and ability to remain calm and lead in dynamic and busy situations.
Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office and healthcare software required.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and prioritization; can serve as a resource and mentor to other clinical staff

Nice To Haves

More than 2 years of Registered Nurse Clinical Experience specific to the ED preferred.
BSN or MSN preferred
Strongly prefer current ACLS and PALS
Previous leadership/charge courses and experience preferred
