About The Position

This specific role is for a Full Time RN (Triage & Support) position available at Garden State OBGYN, with locations in Vorhees & Moorestown. The office hours are Monday - Friday 8AM-4:30PM with one evening shift per week (12-8pm). The hired individual will be responsible for coordinating patient care and implementing policies and procedures related to medical services for nursing staff, primarily through telephone communication.

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • CPR certification
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical facility, preferably in an OB/GYN setting.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of CPT coding, lab specific order sets, and eCW are beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates and assesses patient’s health care needs based on patient’s signs and symptoms utilizing established triage protocols and guidelines
  • Obtains appropriate input and direction from the provider as needed to determine best clinical course of action and recommendations for specific patient health care
  • Accurately documents symptoms/complaints, nursing assessment, advice provided and patient/caller response.
  • Follows policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as improve health care outcomes of patients/callers and their access to appropriate health.
