Registered Nurse/RN – Telemetry Full Time Nights
About The Position
The Registered Nurse/RN II – Telemetry position at Texas Health Rockwall is a Full Time, 36 hours weekly, Nights role. The shifts are (3) 12-hour shifts from 7pm-7am, including every other weekend, two major and two minor holidays. This role does not require on-call duty and offers self-scheduling. The Telemetry Department is characterized by a supportive team environment, a strong shared governance structure with unit-based councils that empower nurses, and new, advanced equipment and technology. New hires will need to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington during the first 1-5 days of hire.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing required
- 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
- Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Med Surg experience helpful
