About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry Department at Texas Health Rockwall. The role is PRN (as needed) with variable 12-hour Day shifts. The nurse must be available to work a minimum of one 12-hour shift per six-week period. Training will be provided at the corporate office in Arlington for the first 1-5 days of hire. The Telemetry Department is described as a supportive team environment with a strong shared governance structure and new, advanced equipment and technology.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year experience as registered nurse required
• Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire
• A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of Telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Med Surg experience helpful
