About The Position

This Registered Nurse (RN) position is for a Long Term Care System Float, working 3x12 hour shifts, with options for Straight Nights or a Day/Night Rotation. The role is part of the System Staffing Office. Long-Term Care nurses in this role are experienced inpatient nurses with Medical Surgical experience who will be floated to Hanover Terrace, specifically within the sub-acute care unit. Hanover Terrace is a 100-bed facility, with 50 beds for Long Term Care and 50 for subacute post-hospitalized patients. System Staffing Office RN's will primarily care for subacute patients, not the LTC beds, with a patient ratio of 8-9 patients per RN. Proficiency with Point Click Care documentation platform is preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse with New Hampshire and Vermont.
  • Basic Life Support Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Point Click Care is the documentation platform - preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
  • Utilizes critical thinking and the nursing process to anticipate and recognize changes in patient status, taking action to modify the plan of care or to elevate to the care team as necessary.
