Registered Nurse (RN) supporting Mental Health at Salmon Creek
About The Position
Join our growing Mental Health team as a full time Triage RN and make a meaningful impact on patient care! Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. This includes care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. Requirements
- Active unencumbered Washington RN license
- Active unencumbered Oregon RN license within 60 days of hire or transfer required.
- Current AHA Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required.
- Experience with an electronic health record
Nice To Haves
- Epic experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- phone triage
- confirm patients meet criteria for psychiatric evaluation and care based on established guidelines/previous assessments
- identify patients requiring external therapy/resources and connect with appropriate community services/alternative options
- scheduling with psychiatrists
- advocate for patient’s well-being
