Registered Nurse RN Supervisor Fulltime Day Shift GI GU Surgical
About The Position
The Registered Nurse RN Supervisor will be responsible for providing care to a wide variety of post-operative patients, including those undergoing complex gastro-intestinal, urology, and colorectal surgeries. This role is on a brand-new 36-bed surgical unit (initially opening with 20 beds) in the Justin Tower at Texas Health Fort Worth. The unit will care for colorectal, gastrointestinal, and urology surgery patients, with an average length of stay of approximately five days. The position offers self-scheduling, opportunities for educational and career growth, and is part of a MAGNET facility and Level I Trauma Center.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree Nursing
- 2 Years experience as a registered nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e. Charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor)
- RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
