About The Position

The Pines at Utica, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates and a Certified Great Place to Work, is seeking an RN Supervisor. This role offers the opportunity to lead an interdisciplinary team in providing exceptional care to residents, ensuring their health, comfort, and well-being. The position involves overseeing facility operations, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with nursing standards. The starting salary is $110K/year or $52.88/hour for the evening shift (3 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday) with no weekends required. Requirements

  • Valid New York State Registered Nurse license
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • An advanced degree or certification is preferred
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill, with the ability to work with both

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery
  • Oversee daily operations, including staffing assignments and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards
  • Provide mentorship, training, and support to nursing staff
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols
