Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor

As an RN Supervisor, you will lead an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care, ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of residents. Responsibilities include oversight of facility operations, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with nursing policies, procedures, and regulations. The position is located at 1800 Butterfield Avenue, Utica, New York, 13501, with an evening shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday, and no weekends required.
Requirements
- Valid New York State Registered Nurse license
- Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- An advanced degree or certification is preferred
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill, with the ability to work with both
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery
- Oversee daily operations, including staffing assignments and resource allocation
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards
- Provide mentorship, training, and support to nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols
