Registered Nurse Supervisor, RN
About The Position
The RN Supervisor supports the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction. This role involves leading, guiding, and directing the clinical operations of the nursing units on the assigned shift, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, practice standards, and regulations. The supervisor will facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentor staff, and coordinate with other departments. Additionally, they will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff for safe, 24/7 care, focusing on limiting overtime and agency use, and participate in staff recruitment, orientation, and provide recommendations for employee actions.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing

Responsibilities

- Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation and make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.
