The Registered Nurse: Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Delivers excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Unit Information: The 62 bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit provides acute inpatient medical rehabilitation services to patients with functional impairments as a result of various diagnoses including, stroke, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, multiple traumas, orthopedic conditions, amputations, and other disabling conditions.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Must have RN experience
- PA Registered Nurse License
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
