About The Position

RN: Short-Term Rehab/Sub-Acute Now hiring for Full-Time Evenings, 3 pm to 11:30 pm $36.92 - 50.67/hour PLUS Shift and Weekend Differentials! Our Weekend Differential is $7 per hour (Pay based on experience) Also Part-time Evening for Skilled/Long Term Care! Part-time = Working every other weekend with $7/hour Shift Diff! Requirements

Graduation from an accredited RN Nursing program: Registered Nurse curriculum is required; Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure without disciplinary infractions by Maryland Board of Nursing.
Current BLS certification required.
At least 1 year of prior continual experience with the same long-term care facility is required.
One year of recent Medical-Surgical experience is required for assignment to Baker Rehab and is desirable for all other assignments.

Nice To Haves

Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred.
2 or more years of service are preferred.
IV insertion skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform nursing care according to established nursing standards and individualizes care based on the care plan and physician orders.
Function as shift Charge Nurse as assigned and oversee care delivery and completion of nursing tasks by RNs, LPNs and GNAs.
Performs resident/patient assessments upon admission and per unit standards.
Ensure patient safety, comfort and regulatory compliance by performing clinical rounds.
Maintain resident/patient clinical records according to established policies and procedures; make corrections and additions to medical records following facility standards and procedures.
Transcribe physicians' orders to resident/patient charts, medication records etc. as required.
Administer medications and treatments according to regulations and established procedures.
Receive report from off-going shift and gives report to oncoming shift during walking rounds.
Complete required documentation related to the patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes and ensures that all steps have been completed.
