About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Pulmonary Unit within a Med-Surgical setting. This unit cares for adult patients with a variety of respiratory and pulmonary conditions in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for delivering direct patient care, performing clinical assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 2 years)
- Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License
- Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
- BLS (AHA) certification required prior to start
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of employment
- Must reside within a commutable distance of the facility
- In-person interview required prior to offer (may include shadowing and facility tour)
- Must be comfortable managing a 7:1 patient ratio

- Experience in pulmonary or Med-Surg nursing
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized care plans

- Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards
