About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a cardiac-focused intermediate care setting. The RN will manage patients requiring close monitoring, including cardiac conditions and post-procedural care, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of PCU experience in a similar-sized facility
- Strong cardiac care experience
- Experience with cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Nice To Haves
- May float to telemetry (lower acuity) within the same unit
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to PCU/IMCU patients
- Monitor cardiac patients and manage telemetry
- Administer cardiac drips and medications
- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure adherence to patient safety and clinical protocols
