About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a 13-week contract in Honolulu, Hawaii. The RN will provide nursing care to patients requiring progressive care monitoring and treatment in a fast-paced clinical environment. This position requires rotating 12-hour shifts and flexibility to work consecutive weekends as needed. Candidates must hold an active Hawaii RN license before the contract begins and successfully pass an on-site EKG competency test to continue the assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 Years of Registered Nurse Experience Required.
• Current, Active Hawaii Registered Nurse License Required Prior to Contract Start.
• Successful Completion of the On-Site EKG Competency Test Required to Continue the Assignment.
• Ability to Work 12-Hour Rotating Shifts and Consecutive Weekends as Needed Required.
• Holiday Coverage and Flexible Scheduling Availability Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Assess and monitor patient conditions throughout assigned rotating shifts.
• Recognize changes in patient status and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using the Cerner electronic medical record system.
