About The Position
A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who has demonstrated expertise in the perioperative field. This role involves effectively delivering perioperative care to surgical patients through the nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The RN II also assists with the supervision of non-professional personnel in the area. Responsibilities include anticipating the needs of the surgical team and providing necessary services while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment. The RN II is expected to utilize initiative and maintain a steady level of productivity.
Requirements
- Current GA State license
- Certified in AHA BLS on hire
- Unit specific advanced competencies
- ACLS and PALS with 1 year of hire
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Nice To Haves
- RN with OR experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg experience preferred
