This is a Per Diem, As needed Registered Nurse (RN) position in Behavioral Health at El Dorado Springs, part of Lifepoint Health. Requirements

Current state RN license
Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
21 years of age or older
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required
De-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire
Must have a current Arizona or compact multi-state RN license
Associate's degree required

Responsibilities

Assesses patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings according to policies
Demonstrates leadership through duties that may include delegating tasks such as groups, close observation, meal supervision, etc
Will also oversee staff to ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is consistently delivered by self and all members of the team
RN will follow hospital policy for medication administration
