About The Position

This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the Pre-Operative and Post-Operative unit, specifically focusing on day shifts. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care, responding to patient needs, and fostering a healing environment. The position is located at Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital, a 47-bed facility specializing in cardiovascular surgeries and cardiac care. The hospital has received numerous awards for its excellence in cardiac care and operates in a team-based environment with a strong focus on patient and staff satisfaction.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma required OR Associate's Degree Nursing required OR Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
• CLIAFE – Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign equivalency required
• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse required
• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
• Previous Pre/Post Op Cath Lab experience preferred
