RN PreOp PACU II, Per Diem - Chardon Surgery Center
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) PreOp PACU at Chardon Surgery Center is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care to ensure patients meet the criteria for admission into the facility. The RN is responsible for achieving patient outcomes in accordance with the facility’s mission. The role also requires conducting business and patient care activities consistently with the hospital’s policy on Patient’s Rights and Responsibilities, without discrimination, and handling all patient information discreetly and confidentially, whether written or spoken. Chardon Surgery Center is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center in Chardon, Ohio, providing services in ocular-plastics, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and podiatry. The center is part of SCA Health, which is part of Optum.
Requirements
- Current licensure to practice in the State of Ohio.
- Successful completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support course.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Nice To Haves
- Current ACLS certification preferred.
- PALS certificate preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in PAT, ICU, or ER nursing preferred.
