About The Position

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The Registered Nurse (RN) – Pre/Post Anesthesia provides safe, high-quality nursing care to patients before and after anesthesia. This role uses the nursing process to deliver individualized, patient- and family-centered care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to promote optimal outcomes, safety, and an excellent patient experience. We are the largest freestanding surgery center in the area with the only freestanding IR in Wisconsin On top of that we are ranked the number 1 for patient satisfaction scores in the region.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • One year of procedural care and or critical care
  • 1 year of Pre/Post‑Anesthesia experience strongly preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience a plus
  • Pediatric experience preferred

  • Cross trained in the Pre-admit area to do pre-op phone calls.
