We value your insights and experiences because they help us grow stronger together Where You Will Work: Join the Pre-Admission Testing team at our Germantown Surgery Center, where you will play an important role in preparing patients for their upcoming surgical experience through the first phone call and pre-procedure coordination. The RN hired into this position will join our 2 additional pre-admission RNs supporting patients through pre-admission for all upcoming surgeries at the surgery center. Remote work opportunity once onsite orientation is completed.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- At least 3 years of RN Experience, preferably in Pre-Admission, Pre/Post or Procedural role.
Responsibilities
- Play an important role in preparing patients for their upcoming surgical experience through the first phone call and pre-procedure coordination.
- Support patients through pre-admission for all upcoming surgeries at the surgery center.
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
