Our Post Surgical Unit specializes in caring for patients in the unit using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. This unit provides nurses the opportunity to develop strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and technical skills while caring for patients. Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
• Basic Life Support required
• Must have an active AL or Compact RN License

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years experience preferred, but new grads welcomed to apply.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies post surgical needs
• Perform post operative assessments
• Perform wound care
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
