About The Position

Wilson Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Physician Clinics. This is a full-time, day shift position. The role is vital in supporting the mission of making communities healthier by providing exceptional care. The RN will play a key role in supporting Providers and patients by ensuring seamless, safe, and efficient clinic operations. The position blends direct patient care, clinical coordination, and essential office functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s degree required
• Current NC RN license
• BLS certification (required or obtained within first week of hire)
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with medical terminology and data entry
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain strict confidentiality

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1–2 years of prior clinic experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting MDs/NPs with direct patient care, including equipment preparation, vital signs, medical history, and other clinical data
• Managing appointment scheduling, procedure coordination, and timely patient flow
• Processing prescription refills and obtaining insurance pre-authorizations for testing and procedures
• Taking verbal orders from Providers and documenting accurately
• Administering oral and parenteral medications (excluding IV) under Physician direction
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked clinical environment
• Completing all documentation promptly and supporting overall clinic operations as needed
