About The Position
Baystate Health is hiring an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Chestnut Outpatient Surgical Services at Baystate Medical Center, a Magnet-designated hospital recognized for nursing excellence. Work in 12 state-of-the-art operating rooms and care for adult and pediatric inpatient and outpatient surgical patients. You will join a collaborative team of RNs, surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical techs, and residents. Diverse surgical specialties include Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, ENT, Urology, Plastics, Ophthalmology, and more. We offer continuing education, simulation training, AORN reimbursement, and excellent opportunities for professional growth. Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN license (or eligibility for licensure reciprocity)
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required, preferably in surgical services
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Diploma in Nursing
