About The Position

Pediatrics is a 19-bed unit caring for patients through 21 years of age and adult overflow, who have medical and surgical diagnoses. The unit utilizes a skill mix of RNs and PCAs. The registered nurse develops, implements and evaluates the nursing plan of patient care and implements the medical plan of care in collaboration with all disciplines.

Requirements

• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• PA Registered Nurse License
• Excellent Communications Skills
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and evaluates the nursing plan of patient care.
• Implements the medical plan of care in collaboration with all disciplines.
