RN - Registered Nurse, Pediatrics
About The Position
Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics Pediatric Specialty Care (PSC) cares for medically fragile and technology-dependent children who require skilled, compassionate, and highly specialized clinical support. Our RNs lead care planning, guide families, respond to emergencies, and advocate for children. This is an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to practice at the top of their license in a pediatric-focused setting. Pediatric nursing is practiced in a structured, team-supported environment without the chaos of hospital rotations. It is a high-acuity clinical environment where you will develop long-term relationships with individuals and families. Requirements
- Credentials as a Registered Nurse with a current state license (PA - Pennsylvania) in good standing for the state in which work is performed
- Valid, current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Meets the qualifications of a Child Care Supervisor as described in 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3800
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
Nice To Haves
- Training and work experience in a pediatric setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement individualized care plans
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments
- Administer medications and advanced therapies (including IV therapy, TPN, and complex treatments)
- Monitor and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families
- Supervise and mentor LPNs and Nurse Technicians
- Support emergency response and clinical safety
- Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards
- Deliver safe, developmentally appropriate, and compassionate pediatric care
